IT Manager

About the Role

As the Manager of the IT function, you will work with users in the implementation and/or operational support of business systems and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include installation, design, test, administration or support of company systems or networks. You will troubleshoot problems, determine root cause and resolve technical issues to prevent reoccurrence. You will monitor production processing and application availability and licensing, manage system performance and resolve capacity and security issues. Understanding the IT ecosystems, you will also be responsible for forecasting and planning additional infrastructure as required. A key to your success in this role will be your ability to balance responsiveness with good change management and information security discipline.


  • Oversee the Change Management process
  • Implement Information Security policies
  • Manage IT expenditures to budget
  • Office 365 Administration, configuration and development
    • Email
    • Dynamics CRM
    • Sharepoint/Teams
    • Integration with other systems (eg Hubspot, Mavenlink)
  • Manage the on-premises infrastructure
    • Network
    • IP Phone system
    • Windows domain
    • Lab servers
    • Backup/recovery
    • Malware prevention
  • Manage the cloud infrastructure
    • AWS lab environment
    • Collaboration suite
    • DNS
    • Other cloud-based services
  • End-user support
    • Security administration
    • Windows workstations
    • Office 365 product suite

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in a related discipline
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in an IT capacity
  • Technology-specific training / certification such as Microsoft (MCSA)
  • Relevant process training / certification such as ITIL, ISO-27K, SANS Institute
  • Work related to the technologies identified in the responsibilities above
