COVID-19 is exponentially changing and propelling organizations into new business models – where digital transformation of further business processes, employees increasingly working remotely and increased cyber threats are forcing CISO’s and security leaders to mature their cyber and security programs quickly and efficiently.
This session will discuss how taking a programmatic risk approach to a SecOps will align IT with the business and as a result:
- Gain leadership trust and buy-in for security programs
- Demonstrate program results in short based time increments
- Give the stakeholders confidence that we are prepared for a security event and we can prevent or minimize the impact
- Prioritize which vulnerabilities pose the greatest threat to the business and how to prioritize and plan for remediation
- Demonstrate the return on investment that a risk-based approach to SecOps will deliver to the organization

Understanding risk and controls in large projects are not new to organizations. To manage risks related to client’s confidential data, Unisys used a point solution integrated to an intake process that is manual. They were looking for a solution that supports an end to end integrated risk platform, automation, monitoring and clear separation of risks and controls with automated management dashboards & reporting. The ServiceNow solution developed by Unisys and Iceberg establishes a project ‘container’ that allows assets from CMDB to be associated to the project, automates the generation of risks to be assessed, then drives a set of controls based on the risk and compliance profile.
