The Iceberg team was at the Kanata Food Cupboard warehouse today to help volunteers pack Easter food boxes. We helped put together 180 boxes that will be delivered to families in our area next week. Each box will include all the ingredients for a family dinner, including a turkey, vegetables, cranberries, gravy, dessert and more.

The Food Cupboard is asking for donations of high priority items including canned salmon/flaked meat, granola bars, fruit/pudding cups, jam/honey, level 1 and 3 jars of baby food, and juice boxes suitable for school lunches.

The organization always needs volunteers and donations from the community. For more information on how you can get involved visit kanatafoodcupboard.ca.
