Gartner has given another strong endorsement to RSA Archer’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) solution, naming it a “leader” in the magic quadrant evaluation for the third year in a row.
The report examines some of the trends in BCM, noting that organizations are moving from a basic “respond and recover” approach, to establishing more operational resilience. “Although the latter is a critical component of a business resiliency (BR) program, teams must focus on how they fit into the organization’s larger operational risk program and approach. Gartner states BCM is in a unique position to address resiliency as part of an operational risk management (ORM) program because of its strategic focus and board-level attention,” writes RSA’s Patrick Potter.
Gartner’s analysts highlighted Archer’s new use-based pricing model and worldwide operational capabilities as strengths. What’s more, the evaluation was completed prior to January 1, when RSA introduced significant enhancements to usability, workflows and functionality as part of Archer 6.0
